FRAGANT! (FRAGe/ANTwort)! is a powerful teaching tool based on a student-empowered cooperative and global approach to learning. It is an exciting quiz-type game strategy where the students form the questions and answers themselves. The process of preparing for the game is where the majority of the learning occurs. The steps the students complete involves the essential skills of reading, writing, listening, and speaking. FRAGANT! also integrates any subject. It is an excellent group writing & brainstorming activity. The students create their own categories and generate their own questions and answers in German! The categories can range from "Mathematik" to "Buchstabierung" (spelling), and the possibilities are endless. When the students completes their planning, they then play against one another in separate teams creating a fun atmosphere.
